To better understand our contribution to the sustainability of WASH services of the last 5 years, at the end of last year we asked an external assessment team headed by WASH expert Piers Cross to do a validation of our track record. The clear overarching message from the external assessment is that the WASH Alliance, by bringing local NGOs together into a country alliance, is making a contribution that is far more impactful than the sum of all the individual NGOs working separately.
