The Dutch WASH Alliance programme and other global WASH initiatives, do not only make sure that more people get more access to clean drinking water and sanitation. They also have several positive effects to broader societal issues. Providing global sustainable WASH leads to better health and safety standards in a country and makes sure that people generally are more productive. Benefits that eventually all contribute to the economy of the regions we invest in. We conducted a research on the longterm impact of global WASH programmes. With this infographic we present you the results of this study.
