Sustainability tools

The WASH Alliance International wants to create results that are able to accelerate after our support has stopped. We identified five key areas of sustainability that need to be addressed in order to achieve this: financial, institutional, environmental, technological and social sustainability. We call this our FIETS sustainability approach. By taking into account these five areas of sustainability, we are able to increase the quality of WASH service delivery in the long term.
